Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to a fire on Maryland Street

Winnipeg, MB – At 6:25 a.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a vacant house in the 500 block of Maryland Street.

At the scene, firefighters saw light smoke coming from the house. Firefighters attacked the fire using an offensive fire attack. They declared the fire under control at 6:48 a.m. No injuries were reported.

No damage estimates are available. The fire is under investigation.
