Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Beverley Street

Winnipeg, MB – At 3:24 a.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a single-storey house in the 400 block of Beverley Street. The reports indicated that residents may be trapped inside the house.

When crews arrived at the scene, they found smoke coming from the house. They entered and launched an interior fire attack. The fire was declared under control at 3:55 a.m.

A search of the house was completed, and no occupants were found. It was determined that all residents had self-evacuated the house prior to the arrival of crews.

One individual was assessed by paramedics but did not require transport to hospital. No other injuries were reported.

The City of Winnipeg’s Emergency Social Services team was activated, providing temporary support for displaced residents.

The fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are not available.
