Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to a fire on Sherburn Street

Released: August 3, 2025 at 9 p.m.

Winnipeg, MB – At 5:27 p.m. on Sunday, August 3, 2025, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a house in the 1000 block of Sherburn Street.

At the scene, crews saw smoke coming from the house. Everyone got out of the house before crews arrived. Firefighters attacked the fire, declaring it under control at 5:59 p.m.

Paramedics assessed five patients and no transportation to hospital was required.

The fire is under investigation. No damages estimates are available.
