Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Simcoe Street

Winnipeg, MB – At 7:15 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, 2025, the Winnipeg Fire Paamedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a three-storey apartment building in the 600 block of Simcoe Street.

When crews arrived at the scene, they found smoke coming from the building. They entered and launched an interior fire attack. The fire was declared under control at 7:31 p.m.

All occupants of the building self-evacuated. No injuries were reported.

The fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are not available.
