Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Robson Street

Winnipeg, MBAt 10:54 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a two-storey townhouse building on Robson Street.

When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found heavy smoke coming from one of the townhouse units. They launched a fire attack from the exterior of the building. Once some of the fire was knocked down, they were able to enter the suite and transition to an interior fire attack. The fire was declared under control at 11:40 p.m.

One individual was located and removed from the suite by firefighters. The individual was treated by paramedics and transported to hospital in critical condition.

Damage estimates are not available. Damages were primarily contained to the suite where the fire originated.

The incident remains under investigation.
