Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to a fire on Maryland Street

Winnipeg, MB – At 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a residential property in the 500 block of Maryland Street.

At the scene, crews found smoke coming from the house. Firefighters attacked the fire, declaring it under control at 8:15 p.m. Everyone got out of the house before crews arrived. The City of Winnipeg’s Emergency Social Services team responded to the scene to provide temporary support to affected residents. No injuries were reported.


The fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available.
