Winnipeg, MB – Last night, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) responded to two structure fires.
Selkirk Avenue fire
At 7:40 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2025, WFPS responded to reports of a fire in a commercial building in the 600 block of Selkirk Avenue. Firefighters attacked the fire, declaring it under control at 8:21 p.m.
Firefighters searched the building to ensure there was no one inside. No injuries were reported.
The fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available.
Victor Street fire
At 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2025, WFPS responded to reports of a fire in a house in the 600 block of Victor Street. Firefighters attacked the fire, declaring it under control at 11:26 p.m.
Everyone got out of the house safely before crews arrived. Paramedics assessed two patients and no transportation to hospital was required.
The City of Winnipeg’s Emergency Social Services team responded to the scene to support affected residents.
The fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available.
