Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Whiteshell Avenue

Winnipeg, MB – At 5:40 a.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2025, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a single-family, bi-level house in the 0 to 100 block of Whiteshell Avenue.

When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found smoke and flames coming from the house. They entered and fought the fire from inside. The fire was declared under control at 6:25 a.m.

All occupants of the house safely evacuated prior to the arrival of emergency crews. No injuries were reported.

The fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are not available.
