Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to a fire on Inkster Boulevard

Winnipeg, MB – At 3:47 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, 2025, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a bungalow in the 2400 block of Inkster Boulevard.

At the scene, crews saw heavy smoke coming from the house. Firefighters attacked the fire, declaring it under control at 4:36 p.m.

All occupants got out of the house before crews arrived. Paramedics assessed one patient, and they did not require transportation to the hospital.

The City of Winnipeg’s Emergency Social Services responded to the scene to provide temporary assistance to affected residents.

The fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available.
