Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to a fire on Magnus Avenue

Winnipeg, MB – At 2:47 a.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a house in the 400 block of Magnus Avenue.

At the scene, firefighters attacked the fire from inside the building, declaring the fire under control at 3:09 a.m. All occupants got out of the building safely before crews arrived. One firefighter sustained an injury and paramedics transported them to hospital in stable condition.

The cause of the fire is under investigation No damage estimates are available.
