Winnipeg, MB – Since last night, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) responded to three fires.
Blake Street fire
At 8:51 p.m. on Sunday, April 20, 2025, WFPS responded to reports of a fire in a three-storey apartment in the 300 block of Blake Street. At the scene, crews saw smoke coming from the building. Firefighters attacked the fire, declaring it under control by 9:40 p.m.
No injuries were reported. The City of Winnipeg’s Emergency Social Services responded to the scene to assist affected residents.

Alfred Avenue fire
At 9:51 p.m. on Sunday, April 20, 2025, WFPS responded to reports of a fire in a two-and-a-half storey house in the 400 block of Alfred Avenue.
At the scene, crews saw flames and smoke coming from the house. Firefighters attacked the fire, declaring it under control at 10:20 p.m.
No injuries were reported. The fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available.
Logan Avenue fire
At 3:35 a.m. on Monday, April 21, 2025, WFPS responded to reports of a fire in an industrial building in the 1000 block of Logan Avenue.
At the scene, crews found fire and smoky conditions. Firefighters attacked the fire, declaring it under control at 4:37 a.m.
No injuries were reported. The fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available.
