One-day closure coming to eastbound Portage Avenue East

Released: March 27, 2025 at 1:05 p.m.

Winnipeg, MB – Eastbound Portage Avenue East will close for a portion of Friday, March 28.

The closure will be in place from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to accommodate a concrete pour, as part of the Portage & Main pedestrian reopening project. 

We will maintain pedestrian access along Portage Avenue East throughout the closure. Other current closures at and around the intersection will remain unchanged at this time.
