Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Main Street

Winnipeg, MB – At 9:20 a.m. on Thursday, December 26, 2024, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) responded to reports of a fire in a single-storey, commercial building in the 900 block of Main Street.

A crew assigned to a fire watch following a previous overnight fire at the building noticed smoke coming from the structure. WFPS crews were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters attacked the fire and declared it under control at 11:26 a.m.

No injuries were reported. The fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are not available.
