Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to a fire on Manitoba Avenue

Winnipeg, MB – At 1:59 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024, Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service crews responded to reports of a fire at an unoccupied one-and-a-half storey house in the 1200 block of Manitoba Avenue.

Smoke was coming from the structure when crews arrived at the scene. They launched a fire attack and used hose lines to apply water to the fire. It was declared under control at 2:12 p.m.

Firefighters searched the building and no occupants were found. No injuries were reported.

Damage estimates are not available at this time.

The cause of fire is under investigation.
