City Launches The Winnipeg 150 Collection

Released: March 13, 2024 at 3:16 p.m.

As part of its 150th anniversary celebrations, the City of Winnipeg has rolled out a special collection of commemorative merchandise, highlighting the vibrant Winnipeg 150 graphic from local artist Jordan Stranger.

Mayor Scott Gillingham, together with City Council members, launched The Winnipeg 150 Collection at The Forks Trading Company on Wednesday afternoon.

“Jordan has created a beautiful representation of our city’s 150 years, showcasing our natural beauty and our journey toward reconciliation,” Gillingham said. “There's been strong demand for items that allow people to visibly celebrate and champion this special year, and we're thrilled to offer Winnipeggers a way to do just that through The Winnipeg 150 Collection.”

The Collection features an array of items, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags, and mugs, all available at The Forks Trading Company or online at ForksTradingCompany.com. Look out for more items to join the lineup as celebrations continue throughout the year.
