Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to structure fire on Magnus Avenue

Winnipeg, MB – At 9:03 a.m. on Monday, June 5, 2023, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a vacant house in the 200 block of Magnus Avenue.

At the scene, crews saw smoke coming from the house. Firefighters attacked the fire from the inside, declaring the fire under control at 9:42 a.m.

Paramedics assessed three people who were in the building at the time of the fire and no transport to hospital was required.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available.
