Winnipeg, MB – Winnipeg Public Library is seeking applications for the 2023-2024 edition of its Writer-in-Residence program.
From an office at the Millennium Library in Winnipeg, the Writer-in-Residence will work with emerging Manitoba writers through individual consultations by phone, email, and online as well as in-person meetings. The Writer-in-Residence will also offer group workshops, writing circles, and other programs through online services such as Zoom or at Winnipeg libraries. The residency also includes time to work on a personal writing project.
The residency term will run from October 2, 2023 until April 30, 2024. Applications are due Monday, May 29, 2023.
The Writer-in-Residence program started in 1985 and this upcoming term will be the Library’s 34th Writer-in-Residence.
