Winnipeg, MB - Sanding crews were out in full force last night along with plows to deal with drifting snow and icy patches as a result of light snowfall accompanied by high winds yesterday. Graders continued to work to improve problematic areas with compacted snow.

Sanding and spot plowing will continue today and tonight on priority 1 (regional) and priority 2 (collector) routes.

Plowing of drifted areas on sidewalks and sidewalk sanding will also continue today.
