Campaign Signage Information

Winnipeg, MB - Wednesday, October 22, 2014 is Election Day for Mayor, Councillors and School Trustees in the City of Winnipeg.

Commencing Saturday, August 30, 2014, campaign signs on public property are permitted throughout the City and are regulated under the Neighbourhood Liveability By-law No. 1/2008 and the Winnipeg Zoning By-law No. 200/2006, Section 182.

Campaign Signage Regulations

All campaign signage on public property must display on its face, the name and telephone number of the person responsible for placing the sign or causing it to be placed, and the date the sign was placed.

Failure to comply with the by-laws may result in removal and destruction of signs.

Campaign signs must be removed within 7 days following the election (Wednesday, October 29, 2014).
