St. James-Assiniboia Library Temporary Closure for Renovations

Winnipeg, MB - St. James-Assiniboia Library, 1910 Portage Avenue, will be closed as of Friday, May 23, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. for renovations to the main floor. The Library is expected to reopen Monday, July 7.

  • During the closure, holds will be sent to West End Library, 999 Sargent Avenue, unless library staff has been asked to send them to a different branch.
  • The book return will be closed from Wednesday, May 28 until Wednesday, July 2. Items can be returned to any other branch of Winnipeg Public Library; all branches have after-hours book returns.

The Winnipeg Public Library’s online services, including downloadable eBooks, eMagazines, audiobooks, and streaming movies and music are available 24/7 at winnipeg.ca/library. Library users can use the online My Account service anytime to review their requests and holds, and to renew borrowed items.
