Archive of 2013 Council meetings also available on YouTube

Winnipeg, MB - City of Winnipeg Council meetings are available to stream live from the Winnipeg.ca website. An archive of 2013 Council meetings has also been posted to the City’s YouTube Channel and can be quickly accessed at City Clerks - Archived Council Meetings

“We’ve added a number of interactive features to the City Clerk’s website this year, that make it more convenient for citizens to stay informed with what’s going on at City Hall,” said City Clerk, Richard Kachur. “Embracing an electronic information distribution system is vital in order to engage as many Winnipeggers as possible. In addition to streaming live and archived Council meetings, the City of Winnipeg online event calendar is a great tool that allows citizens to stay up to date with Committee meetings and agendas. The calendar is useable by desktop, mobile device, and tablet, and is accessible anywhere.”

The City’s new online calendar allows users to add events to their own calendars as well as the option to quickly forward the information to their friends and family.

The City of Winnipeg also offers citizens multiple social media options for staying connected with the City. Social media options include: Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Vimeo and departmental email newsletter subscriptions.
