Public washrooms are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days of the year. They are located in the Downtown area to provide places to go for those experiencing homelessness.

The Responsible Pet Ownership By-law requires that all dogs and cats over the age of six months be licensed. Licences must be renewed annually (bi-annually for 2 year licences).
