Owners of City of Winnipeg cemetery property are assured of perpetual maintenance and upkeep of the grounds, lots, plots, niches, and cremation gardens. A percentage of the purchase price of all cemetery property is invested in the Perpetual Maintenance Reserves to provide the following services:
- Daily grounds maintenance
- Improvements to the grounds and cemetery buildings
- Replacement of buildings
- Renewal of roadways
- Interment section landscaping
Perpetual maintenance does not include the cost of maintenance or repair of memorials placed on cemetery properties. Owners of memorials are advised to insure their memorial against damage.

Perpetual Maintenance Reserve Fund donations
You may donate to the Perpetual Maintenance Reserve Fund to help with the cost of maintenance of the cemetery grounds. The donation can be invested in a specific cemetery's fund.
