Library Advisory Committees

To advise and report to the Winnipeg Public Library Board on library services within the Community.


A Library Advisory Committee is established for each Community Committee, each consisting of:

  • Up to 6 citizen members to be appointed by the Community Committee
  • 2 members of the Winnipeg Public Library Board
  • The Library Administrative Liaison


Number of vacancies varies within each Community
