Winnipeg, MB – At 3:23 p.m. on May 31, 2019, Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service crews responded to reports of a fire in a two storey, single-family home in the 0-100 block of Eagleridge Court. Upon arrival on scene, crews found one side of the house engulfed in flames. A defensive attack was initially launched and once it was safe to do so, crews transitioned to an offensive strategy. The fire was declared under control at 3:49 p.m. The home suffered substantial fire, smoke and water damage.
No occupants were in the home at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available at this time.
