Winnipeg, MB - The public is reminded that the Residential Parking Ban remains in effect until Sunday evening. Snow clearing is currently underway in snow zones E, H, K, O and S. Plowing will take place on residential streets in snow zone D starting at 7:00 p.m. tonight continuing until 7:00 a.m. on Sunday morning. Snow zone C will be cleared from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 15.
Residents are urged to move their vehicles when their residential street is scheduled for plowing. This will help the snow clearing operation run smoothly and will prevent you from being ticketed and towed. Citizens are encouraged to visit knowyourzone.winnipeg.ca or call 311 to confirm their snow zone letter.
Missed residential streets
If some streets in a snow zone have been missed or only partially cleared, crews will return in the coming days to address outstanding snow clearing requirements. In the meantime, residents can park on their street since the Residential Parking Ban only applied during the scheduled 12-hour period. When plowing crews return, no additional parking restrictions will be imposed. However, residents are still encouraged to move their vehicles should they notice that their street is about to be plowed.

Avoid a ticket and tow
Vehicles parked in violation of the Residential Parking Ban will receive a $150 ticket ($75 if paid early), and may be towed to a nearby street that is not scheduled to be plowed, or has already been cleared. If you believe your vehicle may have been towed due to the Residential Parking Ban, please contact 311 for assistance in locating it.
Stay back, stay safe
