Winnipeg, MB – In consideration of the changes to the Province of Manitoba’s public health orders announced on May 20, the City of Winnipeg will be instituting temporary changes at our golf courses, parks, open spaces, and playgrounds.
City-operated golf courses
Effective Saturday, May 22 at 12:01 a.m. until the changes to the province’s public health orders expire on Wednesday, May 26 at 12:01 a.m., groups will be limited to members of the same household only.
We will be collecting information from golfers to ensure members of a group are from the same household. Golfers are reminded to bring identification that includes your address for confirmation.
The number of golfers permitted in our clubhouses is limited, and we suggest golfers allow additional time ahead of their tee time for the collection of information.
In addition, all tee times previously booked for May 22 – 25 will be cancelled, and a new tee time for individual golfers or members of your household will need to be booked.
Reservations for this timeframe can only be made via phone by calling the course after 2 p.m. today. We apologize for the inconvenience of cancelling all pre-existing bookings, but this latest round of restrictions meant that we were unable to honour the vast majority of bookings made under the previous provincial public health orders.

Parks, open spaces & playgrounds
Effective Saturday, May 22 at 12:01 a.m. until the changes to the province’s public health orders expire on Wednesday, May 26 at 12:01 a.m., residents are reminded that gatherings with anyone outside your household are not allowed in our parks, open spaces, and playgrounds.
