Registration Methods

Tuesday, March 15 at 8 am
Registration for swimming lessons only begins

Wednesday, March 16 at 8 am
Registration for all other activities begins & swimming lesson registration continues

Tuesday, March 22 at 8 am
Registration for all activities for non-residents begins.

Option One - Register Online

Have the following information ready:

  • Login and password
  • Name(s) of participant(s)
  • Activity number(s) - in order of preference
  • Credit card number (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and expiry date

To Register, go to Leisure Online. Follow the online registration steps through to credit card payment. Your activity enrollment confirmation will be emailed to you.

Important information about accessing or creating your account

To access your account:

New customers

If you have never registered for a Leisure Guide program, or if the last time you registered was before 2013, you can set up an account by visiting Winnipeg.ca/leisureonline and clicking on Create an Account.

If you are planning to register for Spring/Summer 2016 Leisure Guide activities using leisureonline, please ensure that you are able to successfully login to your online account BEFORE registration starts.

If you are having difficulty accessing your account, please call 311.


Option Two - Register by Phone

Have the following information ready:

  • Name(s) of participant(s)
  • Activity number(s) - in order of preference
  • Credit card number (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and expiry date

To Register call 311 or 1-877-311-4974 (toll-free outside Winnipeg), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, once registration begins. Your receipt will be emailed to you.


Option Three - Register In Person

Have the following information ready:

  • Name(s) of participant(s)
  • Activity number(s) - in order of preference
  • Method of payment (cash, cheque, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or debit)

To Register in person visit any of the in-person registration locations. Your receipt will be provided at the time of registration.

  • Mail/drop-off registrations are no longer accepted
  • Non-residents are assessed an additional 20% on all fees
  • Payment is required at the time of registration (no post-dated cheques)

Note: Registration for Leadership Programs is accepted at any time throughout the year.

Non-Resident Registration

If you reside outside the City of Winnipeg and do not pay City of Winnipeg property taxes, you are considered a non-resident. Registration for all activities for non-residents begins one week from the day that swimming registration starts for residents. Non-residents will continue to be assessed an additional 20% on all fees.

If you reside outside the City of Winnipeg but own property and/or a business within the City of Winnipeg, you are eligible to register at the same time as City of Winnipeg residents. Prior to registration - visit one of our in-person registration locations with a current tax statement. Your tax roll number will be recorded on your family account and your account status changed.

Use of Personal Information Collected for the Leisure Guide Registration Process

Personal Information is collected under Subsection 36(1)(b) of The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and is protected under the Act. It will be used for emergency contact information, program registration, promotion and evaluation, as well as to comply with contractual obligations and to share with appropriate certifying bodies (where applicable).
