Properties must be maintained so as to prevent the existence of objects and conditions that pose health, safety, fire or accident hazards to people, animals or neighbouring properties.


Insect Control Branch

Insect Control
The City of Winnipeg's Insect Control Branch is responsible for controlling major insect pests affecting public health or the property of the City of Winnipeg and its citizens. Some of our most important concerns are mosquitoes, cankerworms and Dutch Elm Disease.


French Language Services
The City of Winnipeg recognizes the importance of providing French language services to its residents and believes that being seen as a bilingual city serves as an important means to stimulate investment from local, national and international businesses who view the use of the two official languages as an important asset to the city of Winnipeg as a whole.
