Designed for easy access and use by all citizens, businesses, commmunity organizations and Governments, NOW provides profiles of each of Winnipeg's 236 neighbourhoods including municipal data, census and demgraphic information, economic development information, historical data and mapped information such as recreation facilities, libraries, schools, parks and much more.

Animal Services
The Animal Services Agency provides animal control measures under the City of Winnipeg Charter and related by-laws.

Community By-law Enforcement Sevices - Property and Neighbourhood Standards
Properties must be maintained so as to prevent the existence of objects and conditions that pose health, safety, fire or accident hazards to people, animals or neighbouring properties.

French Language Services
The City of Winnipeg recognizes the importance of providing French language services to its residents and believes that being seen as a bilingual city serves as an important means to stimulate investment from local, national and international businesses who view the use of the two official languages as an important asset to the city of Winnipeg as a whole.


Library Services
Winnipeg Public Library offers over 1.6 million books, magazines, music and movies to borrow from our 20 branches. We also offer eBooks, music, research for home, work or study and our online catalogue at winnipeg.ca/library. Browse our programs in our @ The Library magazine for all ages - for free.
