On August 24, 2017, at approximately 9:30 p.m., a 51-year-old male victim had parked his vehicle in the 2300 block of Pembina Highway and had begun to walk away when he realized he had left his keys in the ignition.

Upon returning to the parking lot, he observed his vehicle to be occupied by three suspects and reversing out of its parking spot. The victim ran to the vehicle, which was now at Dartmouth Drive and Pembina Highway, and attempted to open the front passenger door.
