Robbery – Arrests: C22-291202

Released: December 16, 2022 at 3:29 p.m.

On December 15, 2022, at approximately 11:00 p.m., a North District General Patrol unit was flagged down and directed to the 500 block of Selkirk Avenue for a report of an altercation.

It was believed that a male and female had approached a group of three adult males outside a convenience store when the male produced an imitation firearm and demanded their property. A fight occurred, and the female armed herself with a can of bear spray before the police unit intervened.

The male and female were taken into custody, and the investigation continued by members of the Major Crimes Unit.

Jaden Amo Warren Neepin, an 18-year-old male of Winnipeg, has been charged with:

- Armed Robbery using a Firearm (x3)
- Possession of a Weapon
- Breach of Recognizance

Madeline Grace Grisdale, an 18-year-old female of Winnipeg, has been charged with:

- Robbery (x3)

Both were detained in custody.
