Robbery – Arrests: C22-10805

Released: January 16, 2022 at 8 a.m.

On January 15, 2022, at 10:51 p.m., East District General Patrol members, with the assistance of the K9 Unit, responded to a convenience store in the 1100 block of St. Mary’s Road for a report of a robbery.

Two individuals—a male and a female—had stolen several items from the store. Upon being confronted by an employee, the male brandished a knife (that had been concealed inside his jacket). They both subsequently fled with the stolen property.

A K9 track led officers to a suite at a residential complex in the first 100 block of Hastings Boulevard, where two suspects were taken into custody. A knife was recovered, along with merchandise believed to have been taken from the store.

Members of the Major Crimes Unit continued with the investigation.

Tyrone Jackson Beaulieu, a 26-year-old male of Winnipeg, has been charged with:

- Possession of a Weapon
- Carrying Concealed Weapon Prohibited Device or Ammunition

Alanna Mae Parenteau, a 25-year-old female of Winnipeg, has been charged with:

- Robbery
- Fail to Comply with Condition of Undertaking (x4)

Both were detained in custody.
