Break and Enters – Arrest: C22-4710

Released: January 16, 2022 at 8 a.m.

Members of the Major Crimes Unit have charged a male after various stores, restaurants and establishments in Winnipeg were broken into over a 3-month period.

Between October 21, 2021, and January 8, 2022, 16 premises were targeted—including one business that was hit twice. Entry was typically gained by forcing a door or damaging windows, and it is believed that stolen vehicles were used in many of the incidents. In addition, a significant amount of property was stolen during the spree.

On January 14, 2022, at 1:17 a.m., a suspect was located by Central District General Patrol officers and placed under arrest at an apartment block in the 200 block of Young Street.

Kory Keiron Flamand, a 42-year-old male of Winnipeg, has been charged with:

- Break Enter & Theft – Place (x17)
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000

He was detained in custody.
