Assault – Investigation: C22-11109

Released: January 16, 2022 at 8 a.m.

On January 16, 2022, at 12:36 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to The Forks for a report of an assault.

Upon arrival, officers located an injured adult male who was transported to a hospital in stable condition.

The investigation has led officers to a residential building in the 300 block of Assiniboine Avenue, where two suspects have been taken into custody.

Members of the Major Crimes Unit are continuing with the investigation. No further information is available at this time.
