Homicide – Update: C21-287269

Winnipeg Police Homicide detectives have identified two suspects in the murder of Anthony Sinclair, who was killed on December 9, 2021.

Arrest warrants for Second Degree Murder have been issued for the following males:

Alex Arumeul GENAILLE, 23
Height: 5’6”
Weight: 217lbs

Thunder Lightning FONTAINE, 22
Height: 5’8”
Weight: 176lbs

Both suspects are considered armed and dangerous and are not to be approached. Anyone with information regarding their whereabouts is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-6508, 911, or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).

As previously released:

On December 9, 2021, at approximately 7:15 p.m., Winnipeg Police Tactical Support Team members and General Patrol Units responded to a report of a male shot in the street near the intersection of Stella Avenue and McGregor Street.

Responding officers located the victim, an adult male. He was transported to hospital in critical condition, however, he succumbed to his injuries.

This investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call the Homicide Unit at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
