Assault with Weapon – Investigation: C21-295325

Released: December 21, 2021 at 8 a.m.

On December 20, 2021, just before 10:30 a.m., officers from the Winnipeg Police Service’s East District responded to a stabbing in Central St. Boniface.

The victim in his thirties reported walking along Ritchot Street near Hamelin Avenue when he was confronted and stabbed by an unknown suspect. The victim sustained serious injuries but managed to get home and contact police. Officers attended to the male and provided emergency medical care until paramedics arrived and transported him stable to hospital.

No arrests have been made.
