On December 17, 2021, at approximately 11:30 p.m., members of the West District, with the assistance of AIR1, responded to a threats call involving a firearm.
After causing a disturbance at a convenience store, a male fled the area and caused damage to a gate in the 300 block of Ferry Road. A resident heard the crashing of the gate and observed the male rummaging through another neighbour’s property. The resident (victim) told him to leave, and the suspect produced a gun and threatened to kill him. He fled on foot, and the victim contacted police, providing a clothing description.
AIR1 observed a suspect with the matching clothing description entering a nearby residence. They maintained aerial support while officers located the suspect at the residence and took him into custody. A firearm was not recovered.

- Utter Threats to Kill
- Mischief Under $5,000
