Homicide – Arrest: C21-289705

Released: December 14, 2021 at 8 a.m.

As previously released:

On December 13, 2021, at 12:57 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 500 block of College Avenue for a report of a severely injured female that had been found inside a residence.

Upon arrival, officers began to provide emergency medical care. The female was transported to hospital in critical condition but succumbed to her injuries.

The deceased has been identified as Flora Grey, a 41-year-old female of Winnipeg.

Update:

Members of the Homicide Unit continued with the investigation.

It is believed that the victim and a suspect (both previously known to each other) were involved in a dispute at the residence, which escalated to an assault.

Lori Nadine Sinclair, a 35-year-old female of Winnipeg, has been charged with:

- Manslaughter

She was detained in custody.
