Point Firearm – Public Assistance: C21-75434

Released: June 25, 2021 at 8 a.m.

On April 5, 2021, at 6:45 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the report of a gun seen in the area of Logan Avenue and McPhillips Street.
Three youths were walking in the area when a black 2008 Chrysler Sebring occupied by a male and female pulled up next to them. The driver, an adult male, exited the vehicle, pointed a firearm at the victims, and then drove away. No shots were fired, and the victims were able to escape to safety. The firearm was described as a sawed-off shotgun.
The Major Crimes Unit is requesting the public’s assistance to help identify the suspects and the vehicle in this incident.
