On January 30, 2021, at 2:45 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the St. John’s area for a report of a stabbing that had occurred after a robbery.
A 35-year-old male had been bicycling in the 500 block of Aberdeen Avenue when he was pushed off his bike by a male suspect and robbed of his property. During the course of the incident, he was stabbed. The victim was able to return home at which time police were contacted.
The victim was transported to hospital in unstable condition and later upgraded to stable condition.
