Suspicious Deaths – Investigation: C20-272952

Released: November 19, 2020 at 8 a.m.

On November 17, 2020, at approximately 11:40 a.m., emergency personnel responded to the 200 block of Tecumseh Street for a report of a water leak and the smell of gas coming from a residence.

Upon arrival, emergency personnel located a fire inside the residence. A deceased adult female and a deceased infant were also discovered.

This investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
