Robbery – Investigation: C20-266110

As previously released on November 9, 2020:

On November 9, 2020, at 12:39 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 800 block of Concordia Avenue after a passerby located a seriously injured 15-year-old male in a parking lot.

The teenager was transported to hospital in unstable condition and later upgraded to stable condition. It is believed that he had been robbed before being found.

Update:

Members of the Major Crimes Unit continued with the investigation and arrested three suspects – two known to the victim. It is believed that the suspects had arranged a meeting with the victim, at which time he was assaulted with a machete and robbed of his personal property (including his clothing). The victim, unclothed, was left on the ground suffering from severe injuries until a passerby later found him.

A 17-year-old male of Winnipeg has been charged with:

- Aggravated Assault
- Robbery
- Disguise with Intent

He was detained in custody.

A 16-year-old female of Winnipeg is facing charges of:

- Aggravated Assault
- Robbery

A 15-year-old female of Winnipeg is facing charges of:

- Robbery

The two were released on an Undertaking.
