Effective today, the Winnipeg Police Service has expanded hours for the public at its Service Centre in the Downtown headquarters building, located at 245 Smith St. The extended hours will provide greater access to a police officer if a member of the public needs to make a report or discuss an issue. The Service Centre will now be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Service centres in the district stations will remain closed.
The hours for criminal record checks and fingerprinting will not change, and will continue to be available to the public from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding holidays.
Despite the extended hours, members of the public are encouraged to follow pandemic guidelines by minimizing unnecessary contact, and consider online reporting options available through the following link.
