Robbery – Arrests: C20-243768

Released: October 15, 2020 at 8 a.m.

On October 14, 2020, at 7:39 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a residence in the 500 block of Stella Avenue for a report of a male that had robbed a female at gunpoint and was still armed with a firearm.

With the assistance of the Tactical Support Team, North District General Patrol officers attended and safely took three suspects into custody. An imitation firearm was seized.

Members of the Major Crimes Unit continued with the investigation. It is believed that the suspects committed a home invasion to rob the residents.

Mary Frances Chartrand, a 38-year-old female of Winnipeg, has been charged with:

- Armed Robbery using a Firearm
- Use of Imitation Firearm During Commission of an Indictable Offence
- Assault with a Weapon
- Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
- Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order

Nikki Anne Cook, a 31-year-old female of Winnipeg, has been charged with:

- Armed Robbery using a Firearm
- Use of Imitation Firearm During Commission of an Indictable Offence
- Assault with a Weapon
- Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
- Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order

They were detained in custody.

A 27-year-old male of Winnipeg is facing charges of:

- Armed Robbery using a Firearm
- Use of Imitation Firearm During Commission of an Indictable Offence
- Assault with a Weapon

He was released on an Undertaking.
