Commercial Robbery – Arrests: C20-226

Released: January 2, 2020 at 8 a.m.

On January 1, 2020, at approximately 5:52 a.m., General Patrol units and a K9 unit responded to a report of a robbery at a convenience store in the 300 block of Henderson Highway. Three males had attended the store, with one threatening to shoot an employee with a gun. A quantity of merchandise was stolen, and the males fled.

The K9 unit was deployed and tracked to a residence in the 300 block of Chalmers Avenue where three suspects were taken into custody. Members of the Major Crimes Unit continued with the investigation.

Skylar Alexander James Cook, an 18-year-old male of Winnipeg, has been charged with:

- Robbery
- Fail to Comply with Sentence
- Fail to Comply with Condition of Undertaking

A 16-year-old male of Winnipeg has been charged with:

- Robbery
- Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order (x4)

They were detained in custody.

An 18-year-old male of Winnipeg will be charged with:

- Robbery

He was released on an Undertaking.
