Elmwood Kildonans Pool temporarily closed for maintenance due to pool fouling

Winnipeg, MB - The public is advised that Elmwood Kildonans Pool, located at 909 Concordia Avenue, is closed until further notice due to unscheduled maintenance caused by a fouling. As a result, today's evening programming will not be taking place. User groups and patrons registered for this evening's programs will be contacted to be advised of the closure.

Water testing and proper procedures are being followed to protect public safety. The facility will reopen once it has been determined that it is safe to do so.

The pool is anticipated to reopen within the next few days. Program registrants and user groups that are impacted by this temporary closure will be contacted by City of Winnipeg staff. Citizens can visit City of Winnipeg - Elmwood Kildonans Pool for further information and updates.
