Closures on Edmonton Street to accommodate Convention Centre construction

Winnipeg, MB - Edmonton Street will be closed from Broadway to York Avenue on Tuesday, March 24, Thursday, March 26 and Friday, March 27 between 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to accommodate concrete pouring equipment used in construction on the RBC Convention Centre. Pedestrian access on Edmonton Street will be maintained throughout these closures.

These closures are scheduled outside of peak traffic hours in an attempt to cause the least amount of disruption to downtown traffic. For regular updates on these lane closures and other City of Winnipeg lane closures, please visit City of Winnipeg - Regional Lane Closures.

Motorists are advised to allow for additional travel time or to use alternate routes in this area to reach their destinations.
