Reminder: Free Transit New Years' Eve, Celebrate Safely

Winnipeg, MB - Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI) and the City of Winnipeg remind all New Year’s Eve revellers to celebrate safely tonight and enjoy a Free Ride with Winnipeg Transit.

The Free Ride offer applies to all Regular and Handi-Transit service starting tonight at 7:00 p.m. until end of service. The last buses leave downtown at approximately 1:38 a.m. For route and schedule information, visit winnipegtransit.com or call 311.

This is the fourth year in a row MPI has sponsored the free New Year's Eve transit service. As a road safety leader in the province, MPI is committed to reducing alcohol-related collisions, deaths and injuries.
