Public invited to open house regarding the North East Exchange District

Winnipeg, MB - The City will present proposed infrastructure improvements and an implementation plan for the North East Exchange District at an upcoming open house.

The North East Exchange District is changing significantly. An area that was once primarily industrial is steadily evolving into a diverse neighbourhood of businesses, cultural venues, educational facilities and residences.

Since January 2014, the City of Winnipeg has been engaging stakeholders and the public to identify the types of infrastructure improvements needed and desired to complement future development and ensure the area is inviting and accessible to all.

Please join us at the upcoming open house to view the proposed improvements, provide your feedback, and discuss your thoughts with project team members.

When: Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Where: Pantages Theatre, 180 Market Avenue, Winnipeg, MB
