Recycling and garbage collection taking longer than normal due to weather

Released: December 24, 2013 at 11:04 a.m.

Winnipeg, MB - Citizens are advised that with the cold temperatures, gusty winds and blowing snow, today’s recycling and garbage collection is expected to take longer than normal.

Crews will be working well into the evening to ensure Tuesday’s collection is complete. The City asks residents for their patience and to please leave their carts out until collection is provided.
